Our flagship service
Children's book illustration.
Cover, spreads, characters, endpapers — the full illustrated life of a book, held together by a single consistent hand.
Each spread drawn to belong to every other.

What we illustrate
Everything inside the book — and everything around it.
Cover illustration
The single image that has to do the work of a thousand words. We design covers that stand out on a thumbnail and hold up in hand.
Interior spreads
Full-bleed spreads, vignettes, half-page scenes. Consistent characters, settings, and color logic across every page of the book.
Character design
A character sheet showing your protagonist from every angle, in every emotion — so the illustrator (even if it's us again) can keep them consistent.
Endpapers & extras
Title pages, dedication pages, endpapers, and marketing illustrations. The small touches that make a book feel complete.
Pick a style
Six looks, matched to your story.
Every illustration commission starts with a style conversation. These are the six aesthetics we work in — click any to see the full breakdown.

Bold & Playful
Energetic, expressive, made to be read aloud.
Chalky textures, confident brushwork, and primary colors that leap off the page. For stories that are loud, warm, and full of character.

Soft Pastel Storybook
Gentle, glowing, and tender.
Painterly pastel washes, glowing light, and softly rounded characters. For quiet, tender stories that feel like being tucked in.

Classic Watercolor
Loose brushwork with room to breathe.
Transparent watercolor washes with visible brushstrokes and generous white space — the traditional look of beloved picture books.

Magical Fantasy
Starlit, painterly, a little bit cinematic.
Atmospheric painterly illustration with dramatic light and a sense of wonder. For fairy tales, myths, and anything that happens by moonlight.

Loose Ink & Watercolor
Quiet, lyrical, and beautifully sparse.
Ink-washed and minimal, with lots of breathing room around a single expressive character. Contemplative, award-quality restraint.

Outline & Watercolor
Sketchy outlines, warm washes, vintage warmth.
Sketchy ink outlines filled with transparent watercolor — the classic busy scene that rewards re-reading. Endless small details to discover.

Questions
The answers we give most often.
- How long does a full picture book take?
- Most 32-page picture books take 8–12 weeks from brief to final delivery. The timeline depends on the number of spreads, rounds of revision, and how quickly you can review milestones.
- Do you work from an existing manuscript?
- Yes — most of our projects start with a finished or near-finished manuscript. If your story is still in draft form, we can recommend freelance editors we've worked with.
- Can you match a specific look I have in mind?
- Within reason. Our six signature styles cover most of what authors ask for. If you have a very specific aesthetic in mind, send us references — we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
- Will my characters stay consistent across all pages?
- Yes. Character consistency is the core of good picture book illustration. We build character sheets upfront and reference them on every single spread.
